My name is Susan and I'm the owner/operator of Hanoi House Peterborough. Pho has been my favourite food since childhood and since I grew up in the Cavan Monaghan area, I would have to drive all the way to Toronto to fulfill my pho craving.

After moving to Toronto for school, I told myself that if I ever came back to Peterborough, I would seriously consider opening a Vietnamese restaurant. A decade later, my plans remained the same and I'm happy to announce that I have made my dream come true!

My passion from Vietnamese food was inspired by people who invited me into their homes on almost a daily basis and would share their home cooking with me. I love how healthy the cuisine is and the flavours and aromas that come along with it. I want to share my love for Vietnamese food with Peterborough and I'm excited to make this restaurant come to life!
